About the Forum
The Mokha Forum is a pioneering initiative launched by the Mokha Center for Strategic Studies in early 2025 and officially announced on July 1, 2025. It aims to prepare and empower researchers and community leaders through advanced training programs that address Yemen’s development and reconstruction needs, as well as transitional justice policies and good governance.
Drawing on the latest scientific methodologies and a blend of local and international academic and professional expertise, the Forum seeks to build strong partnerships with official institutions, unions, federations and civil society organizations to implement impactful development initiatives. Its programs span a wide range of thematic tracks, including political research, community leadership, peacebuilding, climate change, economic development and support for pioneers of reconstruction and development projects.
Through these programs, the Forum targets a diverse group of stakeholders, including decision-makers, youth leaders, Yemeni students inside and outside the country, professionals interested in transitional justice and development as well as members of unions and civil society groups. In this context, the Forum offers opportunities for cooperation and partnership with research centers, universities, academic institutions, official bodies and NGOs, and it welcomes proposals for funding and training ideas that align with its mission and areas of focus.
