This is a specialized, intensive training program limited to a select number of participants. It offers a comprehensive package of knowledge and skills aimed at qualifying students in the social science fields via expert instructors and interactive workshops based on scientific foundations.
Program Objectives:
- Provide trainees with foundational knowledge in social sciences.
- Equip students with scientific research skills and the ability to prepare academic papers.
- Connect participants to the Yemeni issue in its various dimensions.
Target Group:
Yemeni university students enrolled in Turkish universities (residing in Istanbul during the summer).
Participants:
15 researchers (male and female), graduated from the program, out of 40 applicants.
Program Duration:
One and a half months.
Program Activities:
- Training courses.
- Workshops and discussion sessions.
- Practical applications (conducting research and analyses).
- Closing ceremony and certificate distribution.

- Economic resources, their management and impact on Yemen’s reality.
- Emerging identities in Yemen and their role in the current conflict.

- The army and security apparatus and their roles in political life.
- Yemeni political parties and forces.
Scientific Research Skills in Social Sciences:
- Choosing a research topic.
- Research outputs.
- Preparing a research plan.
- Data and information collection.
- Designing a questionnaire form.
- Techniques for conducting research interviews.
- Writing a research report.
- Research skills using Google search engine.
